Women’s History Month The Art of Resilience

WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH #TheArtofResilience

March is Women’s History Month, and we are proud to recognize women who continue to make a difference in the community. Alabama State Representative, Laura Hall won re-election in 2018 with 86% of the vote, and she is the first African-American woman elected to represent house District 19 in Montgomery. Representative Hall has chaired the Governor’s commission on A.I.D.S, and served as chairperson of the Alabama House of Representatives Black Caucus. She spent over 30 years as an educator with 25 of those served at J.O. Johnson High School in Huntsville. She is compassionate, and she works hard for all of her constituents. Today we proudly acknowledge Alabama State Representative, Laura Hall for Women’s History Month.
